Manon: The Face of Insitoo in Belgium

Let’s talk about Manon’s journey in Belgium. How is the market performing? How is the Belgian market handling the skyrocketing rise of freelancing? It’s time to hand over the floor to our « super agent » on the ground!

Manon and her role in Belgium

The Role: Manon, can you explain in a few words what your role as Business Manager at Insitoo Belgium involves?

As Business Manager, my primary mission is to steer Insitoo’s expansion across the entire Belgian market, working with both companies and independent talent. Staying true to our historical DNA, I facilitate connections between highly qualified freelance experts and IT or Business departments. My goal is to build a genuine community of trust, offering both clients and consultants tailor-made support and increased visibility.

The Mission: Which aspect of your job are you most passionate about on a daily basis?

What drives me above all else is building and nurturing bonds of mutual trust. It’s a dimension that requires constant personal investment, active listening, and great agility to adjust to everyone’s needs. When that trust is established, we move beyond a simple service to enter a strategic partnership logic. My role is to create a « 3x win » synergy — for the company, for the consultant, and for Insitoo. This creation of shared value is what gives my commitment its full meaning.

Manon, the Belgian Market, and Insitoo

Positioning: Insitoo Group is well-established in France; how is the brand development going in the Belgian market?

While we share the group’s values, our priority is to establish ourselves as a leading local player, fully rooted in its ecosystem. This isn’t just a geographical extension, but a Belgian identity in its own right. The Belgian freelancing market is mature and thriving. Our challenge is to demonstrate our added value through our ultra-specialization and proximity — major assets within a global offering that is often overcrowded.

Local Specificities: What are the unique characteristics of freelancing in Belgium?

Belgium has a resolutely international and multilingual DNA. It’s a European crossroads where different corporate cultures meet, which requires real cultural agility. Navigating this cosmopolitan environment demands a fine understanding of both local and international codes.

Added Value: Why should a Belgian company choose Insitoo?

Unlike generalist platforms, Insitoo Belgium stands out through its rigorous mastery of the local legal framework. We don’t just transpose foreign models; we have specific expertise in Belgian labor law to offer optimal security to companies in our market.

Manon: Expertise and Client/Freelance Relations

Client Side: What are the main expectations of Belgian companies today?

They are primarily looking for specialized expertise. Beyond technical excellence, the expectation is for integration capacity and commitment. Companies favor consultants capable of investing themselves over the medium or long term. They appreciate proactive profiles who anticipate tomorrow’s technological challenges.

Freelance Side: How do you guarantee the fit between a consultant and a client’s culture?

Every candidate is met and qualified individually. We take the time to analyze their background, but also their personal aspirations. For the sake of transparency, we identify « convergence and vigilance points » to guarantee lasting compatibility. For technical profiles, we deepen the evaluation through project reviews or specific tests.

The « Matching »: What is your secret to creating a successful collaboration?

The support doesn’t stop when the mission starts. We establish constant, collaborative follow-up. This proactive « step back » (taking a broader view) is the key to nurturing the collaboration and ensuring the longevity of the partnership between the consultant and the company.

Vision and Ambitions

Future: What are Insitoo’s major goals in Belgium for 2026?

Our ambitions are clear: to consolidate our position as a key player. This involves expanding our community and diversifying our interventions for both Key Accounts and Startups. We are also strengthening our local alliances, notably with GDG (Devfest), CoSearching.be, and Clusity. These partnerships allow us to actively support the Belgian ecosystem.

Final Word: What advice would you give to a freelance professional looking to start out in Belgium?

Focus on specialization. The Belgian market values high-level expertise. Invest in your network, take care of your strategic visibility, and cultivate your interpersonal agility. It’s a demanding market, but incredibly promising for those who combine technical talent with a sense of relationship-building.
