We are looking for a Business Analyst for our client in Brussels.

Context :

The primary responsibility of this role will be to contribute to projects incorporating both technical and functional enhancements.

The Business Analyst will initially focus on two critical domains: data and reporting, ensuring that all related processes and functionalities are seamlessly reflected into the new data model.

The project already started for which support is needed in order to analyze business requirements, support the functional design, change documentation, help set up testing and test.

This role requires strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key responsibilities :

– Analyze data and reporting needs, gather requirements, and translate business needs into clear functional specifications.
– Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business processes, functional designs, and system requirements
– Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers to align on deliverables and ensure seamless integration with impacted components and integrated systems.
– Workshops & Optimization: Lead and facilitate workshops to gather input, validate solutions, and identify opportunities for process optimization and functional improvements.

– Defining and analyzing data and reporting requirements
– Ensuring effective reporting strategies, and delivering insights from data. You will need to work closely with various stakeholders, including developers, business users, and other teams, to ensure the system and data model align with business needs.
– During the testing phase, you will support the test content definition that must be integrated in the global project test strategy, and as well the validation of the data and reporting implementations.

Expected skills :
– Scrum or equivalent agile certificate – Must have
– Proven experience in a function as Business or Functional Analyst – Must have
– Proven experience in Azure DevOps as tool to log user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria – Should have
– Proven experience in business process modeling (BPMN, UML) and data visualization techniques – Should have
– Proven experience in leading analysis and facilitating alignment with different stakeholders throughout the project phases (from design to tests phases) – Should have
– Proven experience with Agile work methods such as Scrum – Should have
– Proven experience with ticket logging & management tools – Should have
– Proven knowledge of SQL | writing and executing queries – Should have
– Understanding of different Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC): Understanding of different SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. – Should have
– Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and working with data models – Nice to have

Languages :
– English – C1 minimum – Must have
– Perfect oral and written knowledge of Dutch or French (min C2) and C1 for the other language – Must have
