Located in Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Grenoble and Brussels, Insitoo Freelances is an entity of Insitoo Group, specialized in Freelances sourcing and supplying.Since 2007, Insitoo Freelances serves as a reference thanks to its expertise in IT and its values of transparency and proximity.Currently, in order to answer to a request for proposals of our client, we are looking for a Data Scientist (H/F) in Brussels.

Context :

Efforts are ongoing to modernize the software application landscape through application lifecycle management and Cloud migration.
The challenges are the following : constructing and valorising a comprehensive knowledge base of the internal software.

The requirements are the following :
– Explore ways the existing knowledge graph can be valorised to reach the objective by leveraging advanced methodologies in graph theory, graph mining and graph learning which go beyond what is generally found in the market as skill level
– Modernize the application management lifecycle and application migration management
– Exploit advanced graph based methods (e.g. graph theory, graph learning/mining …) to extract operationally and strategically valuable information from the knowledge graph.
– Uses cases :
Extracting insights from the knowledge graph which could improve the process of migration wave planning
Using information encoded in the digital twin to help migrate legacy applications to the new infrastructure

Expected skills :
– Expertise in data science thanks to several years of experience as a data scientist – Mandatory
– A Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics or engineering – Preferable
– English – Fluent – Mandatory
– French or Dutch – Fluent – One of both is mandatory
– AI – Machine Learning: R/Rstudio, SAS, LLMs, NLP, ASR, Graph learning, 

– Programming languages: Python, Spark, scripts Ansible, SQL, Scala (optional), Kafka, (optional); Flink (optional)

– Development Tools & Libraries: Conda, GitLab, Jupyter, PyCharm,

– Deployment tools like Nexus, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, cdd, RA, Fortify, SonarCube

– Databases: SQL, Neo4j

Telework/On-site :
– 2 days per week on site
