We are looking for a Infrastructure solution architect for our client in Brussels. 

Homeworking/on-site policy : 1 to 2 days per week onsite

As a Linux Specialist, you are the central figure for the management, automation, and continuous improvement of our Linux infrastructure. You work in a hybrid cloud environment with a strong focus on Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, GitOps, and architectural innovation. You are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance Linux solutions. You coach and support other Linux engineers within the team and actively contribute to knowledge sharing, standardization, and innovation. Your expertise in Linux Identity Management (IDM) is essential for managing users, access control, and integration with other platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Linux environments (on-prem and cloud).

• Design Linux architectures with a focus on scalability, security, and innovation.

• Develop Ansible playbooks and Terraform modules for automation.

• Implement GitOps workflows and CI/CD integrations.

• Monitoring and logging with Dynatrace.

• Manage Linux Identity Management (IdM/FreeIPA).

• Ensure security hardening and compliance with compliance requirements.

• Coach and guide colleague Linux engineers.

• Document procedures and best practices.

• Advise development teams on Linux-related solutions.

Expected skills :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux system administration in enterprise environments.

• Thorough knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Git, and GitOps.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo CD.

• Familiar with monitoring via Dynatrace.

• In-depth knowledge of Linux Identity Management (IdM).

• Strong knowledge of network configuration, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing.

• Certifications such as RHCE, Terraform Associate, or CKA are a plus.

• Proactive mindset, analytically strong, and solution-oriented.

• Strong coaching skills and team orientation.

• Reports to the Service Delivery Manager ICT Infrastructure.
