Located in Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Grenoble, and Brussels, Insitoo Freelances is an entity of Insitoo Group, specialized in Freelances sourcing and supplying.Since 2007, Insitoo Freelances has been a reference in IT thanks to its expertise, transparency, and proximity .Currently, in order to answer to a request for proposals of our client, we are looking for a Java application developer in Brussels.

Key responsibilities :

– Designing, developin and maintaining high-value, reusable and reliable software applications.
– Taking the lead on the removal of technical debt, on setting the outlines for the future evolution of the main application and on focusing developments towards providing customer value.
– Identifying any sticking points, analyse them correctly and iron out any bugs.
– Gathering, analysing & refining the requirements to launch new functionalities in the most user-friendly way.
– Standing guard over code quality, organisation and automation
You’ll have the opportunity to learn (if needed) and work with:
– Test-Driven Development;
– Spring, Maven and RESTful APIs;
– Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery;
– Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, JIRA;
– Docker and Kubernetes;

Expected competencies :
– Java and object-oriented programming – Mandatory
– Software design patterns – Mandatory
– Relational databases – Mandatory
– MIA – Good to have
– BTT – Good to have

– Banking experience – Good to have

Languages :
– English – Fluent – Mandatory
– French or Dutch – Is a plus

Telework/onsite : 2 to 3 days per week onsite
