In order to respond to our client needs, we are looking for OPS Engineer / Change Manager (H/F).

For a long-term mission, our client, located in the centre of Brussels, is looking for a OPS Engineer / Change Manager (H/F)willing to also take on managerial roles.

Services covered are mainly support as escalation for lower levels, design and architecture for new projects, maintain technical environments in scope and review of external providers’ activities.  

The OPS Engineer / Change Manager (H/F) will be responsible for :

–  monitor and follow-up incidents and requests reported to I&P Technical Operations team via approved channels (ServiceNow and email)  
– be able to provide expert level advices to lower support lines of external providers, or internal teams, supporting the infrastructure   
– aim at the resolution of any incident as fast as possible  
– troubleshoot incident if required and requested by the management  
– act as escalation point for critical incident  
– coordinate efforts from several teams, including external providers, for complex/cross-technologies incident  
– escalate issues to vendor if necessary and do follow-up  
– work on Post Incident Report
– act as entry point within the company for most of the technologies supported by the third party supplier  
– participate to incident review meetings and service review meetings with service providers 
– submit if necessary, monitor and follow-up changes within team technical scope  
– be able to provide expert level advices to lower support lines of external providers, or internal teams, supporting the infrastructure for change scope, planning and preparation  

Technical and functional skills required :

Candidates must cover one or more of the activities domains described below and demonstrate 5 years of experience in one or more of the tasks described below. 

English language is mandatory and French language is an added value. 

Active Directory:  

– Incident, change, capacity, obsolescence, project management which involves amongst other tasks:  
–  GPO management  
–  DC management  
– Domains management  
– Windows and virtualization: 
– Certificates management  
– OS images management  
– Virtual servers organization  
– HVD support including 1st line  
– Templates management; creation and hardening  
– Hardware management; OneView/VCM management  
– Antivirus  
– Filedozer  
– WSUS  
– Interface with Microsoft/VMWare  

Backup:  

–  Incident, change, capacity, obsolescence, project management which involves amongst other tasks:  
– Coordinate tape management operations  
– Provide Veeam KPIs  
– Interface with Legato/Veeam DSE  
– Coordinate restore tests operations
