Located in Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Grenoble, and Brussels, Insitoo Freelances is an entity of Insitoo Group, specialized in Freelances sourcing and supplying.Since 2007, Insitoo Freelances has been a reference in IT thanks to its expertise, transparency, and proximity .Currently, in order to answer to a request for proposals of our client, we are looking for a Scrum master (H/F) in Brussels.

2 to 3 days on site per week – Mandatory

Key tasks :
– Setting up and facilitating the Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings
– Scheduling and following the key steps of the methodology
– Guaranteeing a smooth use of the Scrum methodology and help the Project Team face any obstacles
– Providing assistance or support to the Product Owner concerning the Product Backlog
– Assisting and supporting the team in the delivery of the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
– Tracking team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes
– Coaching and challenging the Project Team
– Helping the Project Team face any difficulties and promote its gradual self-organization
– Removing barriers to team effectiveness and protect the team from outside distractions
– Being the ambassador of agile methods within the company
– Providing to his/her superiors a reporting on the proper deployment of the Scrum methodology within projects
– Managing risks & issues

Required competencies :
– At least 5 years of relevant experience – Mandatory
– Agile methodologies – Mandatory
– Agile reporting and follow-up tools such as Jira – Mandatory
– Understanding of automated and integrated testing – Mandatory
– Sound knowledge of software development methodology – Mandatory
– Sound knowledge of project management methodology – Mandatory
– Good communication skills – Mandatory

Language requirements :
– English – Fluent – Mandatory
– French and/or Dutch – Is a plus
