Our client is currently looking for a Windows Environment Engineer (H/F) to join ther team for one year mission in Brussels. 

The Windows Environment Engineer (H/F) will be responsible for :

– Gathering requirements from businesses (Facility Management, Branding & Communications, Compliance, Legal, Tax, etc….)
– Reviewing existing solutions (in-house, external packages)
– Testing solutions on the infrastructure as received from the vendor, integrating them with security management and other processes
– Writing instructions for deploying these solutions on the infrastructure
– Coordinating releases in UAT and production environments
– Supporting end-user testing
– Supporting existing assets, most of them on Windows / SQL Server / IIS stack, some on AIX(Linux) / Oracle
– Developing & supporting a few .NET applications
– Developing & supporting solutions built on SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
– Supporting applications on the technical Facility network (camera’s, lighting …)

Technical and functional skills required :

– SQL Server / SSIS / Transact – SQL
–  IIS / Tomcat
– Package installation & distribution / Kitting & packaging for Windows
– System integration & System Testing 
– Network architecture 
– File Servers / NAS / SAN / File Transfers / Message Queues
– Job Scheduling / Windows Scheduled Tasks / Ctrl-M
– Virtualisation / Citrix 
– Access Control & Windows Security / Single-Sign-On 
– Windows Batch Scripting 
– HTML / XML
