Client

What is mission follow-up? (Client benefit)

To support Freelancers and improve our Client service, mission follow-up is put in place to ensure proper execution of the Work Service.

At the start of the mission, the Project Engineer makes an appointment with the Client for a six-week review. The following reviews are then scheduled every six months or upon request.

These meetings are used to review the elapsed period and to measure Client satisfaction. & Freelance. During these reviews, the discussion deals mostly with the work completed or in progress, difficulties encountered, solutions put in place, understanding of what's at stake, suitability of the profile, compliance with objectives, quality of deliverables, etc.

Client benefit: These reviews enable our team to gather information and learn more about the Client (context, requirements, organisation, methods, etc.) and thus improve the relevance our future proposals.

How are Freelancers selected by Insitoo?

Any Freelancer proposed in response to a job offer has met with our teams at least once, and recommendations are required for any first experience in the region (if newly arrived). If the Freelancer has already worked for Insitoo, our choice is supported by reviews from previously completed missions.

Three criteria are decisive in selecting an Insitoo candidacy:

Know-how & Social skills. Does the Freelancer have the ability to meet the Client’s needs properly? Are their experience and recommendations in line with the mission requirements?

Is the Freelancer’s availability compatible with the project ramp-up plan?

Is the Daily Rate requested by the Freelancer in line with market rates and contract terms?

How do I transmit my needs?

In Insitoo, our Project Engineers are there to help you. Please feel free to meet with them or ring them to talk about your specific needs. You can also communicate with them by e-mail or on our mission submission page. Our team will get back to you in order to learn more about your demands and to propose the best talent.

Freelancer benefit: These reviews help our team get a better understanding of the context of the know-how & social skills of the service provider and thus improve the relevance of our future mission offers.

How to define my compensation?

Freelance compensation is based on the Average Daily Rate (ADR). By taking into account the context of the mission (stakes, requirements, difficulties, etc.), the ADR is established with respect to the Client’s going rate, the going market rate and the Freelancer’s wage practices. To finalise the rate, agreement is needed from all parties.

Would you like to define your ADR? As a regional specialist in freelance work, Insitoo will help you establish an ADR adapted to your profile and to market conditions. Please feel free to contact our team.

So, what is wage porting?

Putting an intermediary between yourself and your client in order to work as a freelancer while still benefiting from employee status; that’s the concept behind wage portage. This intermediary is a wage portage company; it's a portage structure that pays the service provider a salary from the money received for service provision. This organisation frees the service provider from administrative red tape related to creating a business, while benefiting from the social protection enjoyed by an employee.

With the aim of growing the freelance industry and supporting independent consultants, Insitoo offers its wage portage service to help freelancers work in this new manner with complete peace of mind!

How to manage my recommendations?

With the Insitoo platform, you can ask for recommendations about your previous work experience. To do this, you have to have an Insitoo profile (see “How to create my Insitoo profile?”).

Once your account has been created and your profile filled in, you can ask for one or more recommendations for each experience. On the edit profile page, click on the “Ask for a recommendation” link next to the experience you want to highlight. Then fill in the fields in the window, and send your message. Your request is then submitted to your contact, who has 30 days to respond.

If your contact decides to write a recommendation, you’ll receive an alert in your e-mail inbox informing you that this recommendation has been posted on your profile. Don't like its formatting? You can always delete it on the edit page for your profile, and then ask your contact for a new recommendation.

How to create my Insitoo profile ?

We invite you to fill in all the available fields with the corresponding information, and we strongly recommend for you to ask for recommendations. A detailed profile could be a difference maker for your candidacy. By increasing confidence and credibility, it could help convince the Client to interview you.

Please correctly fill in your profile, Insitoo advises you to:

  • Remember that your profile is not a CV.. Highlight your most recent and most interesting work experience. Describe your older work experience more briefly, since it is less likely to be of interest to recruiters. The level of information in your profile should be in between that on multi-contact social media and a classic 12-page CV.
  • Cite only your main skills. Ten #skills maximum; you shouldn't spread yourself too thin.
  • Write and format your résumé with care. It will stand out to our clients. Make them want to know more about you!
  • Format your descriptions. You can add lines to improve clarity or highlight key words with bold face. Careful presentation will improve your chances of being selected.
  • Stay professional. If you add a photo, it shouldn’t work against you. It must be recent and taken against a neutral background.
